The Pennsylvania Department of Economic and Community Development (DCED) sponsors several workforce development grants that provide funding support to companies that wish to upgrade the skills of their employees in order to remain competitive.
The federal Workforce Investment Act of 1998 provides job training to eligible individuals for private and public sector employees. Information about this training can be found at www.pacareerlink.state.pa.us. Select "Job Seeker Services" or "Employer Services" to view statewide training and provider lists.
