High School
In high school you begin to focus on your future career. You may select courses that
- prepare you for work immediately after high school
- provide technical training that enables you to work immediately after high school, but also prepares you academically for continuing your education beyond high school
- have an academic focus and prepare you for college
To help graduates meet the challenge of today's technically advanced workplace, high schools now provide additional opportunities for technical education that supplements the traditional academic curriculum.
